Clinical Experience
Dr Parita Patel is a Specialist Anaesthetist gaining her FANZCA (Fellowship of Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthesia) in 2022. She completed three fellowships in Perth:
1. Advanced airway management/ airway fellowship at Fiona Stanley Hospital
2. Trauma fellowship at Royal Perth Hospital
3. Complex/high risk Obstetrics and Gynaecology at King Edward Memorial Hospital.
Her experience is broad and includes the use of regional anaesthesia (nerve blocks) to help with post-operative analgesia. Her interests include airway/ ENT/ head and neck/ max-fax, orthopaedics, obstetrics, general, urological and ophthalmology (eye blocks).
Dr Patel was born in the UK, having gained her medical degree at the University of Bristol in 2007. In 2009 she moved to NSW and completed three years of intensive care training (Sydney/Orange) before commencing her anaesthesia training in Gosford and Newcastle, NSW. This, together with her fellowships, has given Dr Patel extensive experience in the management of both emergency and elective cases.
Dr Patel is a staff specialist at Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital Group, where she gives sedation and anaesthesia to a wide variety of surgical specialties.

Dr Patel will review your on-line health survey and aim to call you prior to your elective procedure, to discuss your anaesthesia and analgesia management plan. An estimate of costs will also be sent to you from the rooms.
