Dr Joel Krause is a compassionate and skilled anaesthetist. After gaining his FANZCA in 2024, Joel has worked as a consultant anaesthetist in public and private practice, with current appointments in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals.
Joel has completed three fellowships:
1. Regional Anaesthesia, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital
2. Safety and Quality, Royal Darwin Hospital
3. Simulation and Teaching, Royal Darwin Hospital
Having completed anaesthesia training in each of the major tertiary centres in Perth, Joel has interest in orthopaedics, general, urology, obstetrics, gynaecology, ENT and ophthalmology. He has a special interest in providing regional anaesthesia (nerve blocks), pain management and teaching.
