Originally from the UK Dr English graduated from The University of Bristol Medical School in 1995. He commenced his anaesthetic training in 1999 including 2 years in Cornwall and 6 in Nottingham, including 18 months involved in Airway Research at The University of Nottingham. He completed his Specialist Training in the United Kingdom in 2006 and since 2007 has been working in Western Australia in both public and private hospitals. He was the Airway Fellowship Supervisor at Fremantle and Fiona Stanley Hospitals for 8 years and lead anaesthetist for ENT surgery.
Jim is experienced in all fields of anaesthesia with particular specialisation in anaesthesia for Head and Neck surgery and Regional anaesthesia. He is a member of both The Royal College of Anaesthetists and the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and works across all of the major hospitals of Perth.
