Dr Bernard Lee commenced private practice in 2003 and joined Metropolitan Anaesthesia as a fulltime consultant in private practice in 2004.
His medical training was conducted at the University of Western Australia and he has spent most of his life in and around Perth and its hospitals. He had postgraduate fellowship training in Chronic Pain management at Royal Northshore Hospital Sydney in 2002 before returning to Perth.
Dr Lee has a wide range of anaesthetic interest (both adults and paediatrics) including anaesthesia for ENT, major joint replacement surgery, upper and lower limb orthopaedics, ophthalmology anaesthesia, facial plastic surgery and abdominal laparoscopic surgery. He has developed particular interest in ultrasound guided regional blockade for surgery.
Dr Lee has appointments at all major private hospitals including St John of God healthcare, Mount Hospital, Bethesda, Mercy and Glengarry Hospital.
