Dr Shedleyah Dhuny graduated from the National University of Ireland in 2006 and has been practising medicine continuously since then.
After completing Anaesthesia training in the Tasmanian Health Service, she moved to Western Australia for subspeciality training in Regional/General anaesthesia at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Hollywood Private Hospital.
Dr Dhuny obtained fellowship of the Australia New Zealand college of Anaesthetist (FANZCA) in 2015 and has been working as a specialist in Perth for the last 10 years.
Aside from private practice, Dr Dhuny has a public commitment as a consultant anaesthetist at SJOG Midland hospital, where she was the past Head of Department for 5 years.
Her areas of interests are Orthopaedics, Gastroenterology, Gynaecology, Opthalmology, Plastics Surgery and General Surgery.
Dr Dhuny is a member of the Western Australia Rotational Anaesthesia Training Program committee, which selects the future Anaesthesia trainees for our state through a very competitive and comprehensive process. She has an interest in employee’s welfare at the workplace and values a consistent and efficient theatre team structure.
